Hi, my name is Debbie Gent. I am an introvert who loves color, nature, animals, and my family. I have been on the Emerald Coast since 1985. My husband and I are the proud owners of 5 feline family members.

Where did my passion come from? I have been interested in art and design since I could hold a crayon. I studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and learned the rest by doing. Drawing graphite portraits was my niche. I loved recreating textures and faces with photographic detail. This skill helped me move into the photo restoration business. Being able to recreate details that no longer exists or that are damaged is my specialty.  Knowing anatomy is also crucial in recreating faces that are damaged or discolored.

With over 25 years’ experience in advertising and design, I have done everything from paste-up to creative director. I know the business and what makes a great statement. I currently have two major direct mail clients where I generate all the ad copy for each, every month.  I love capturing the right feel or the perfect moment. Attention to detail and completing the project on time are talents I bring to every client.

I have recently discovered digital painting and I am obsessed with it. I now offer pet portraits and memorials.  My love of art is only surpassed by my love of animals, which is why I am a long-time volunteer at the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society.  I love taking “beauty shots” of the dogs and cats to help them get adopted. I started the digital painting to raise awareness for our shelter animals.
